i went ahead and copied it and it was sweet. I wish i had of waited a bit longer for the reply. That way, if anything gets screwed up, you can do a restore of your player data, even if you reinstall the game. BEFORE doing anything with your Save files, copy them up to another location separate from the Borderlands folders. When I copied over the Save file from one PC to the other but with a different save number, there was now 2 Mordecai's under the playerlist.īUT. You can also just copy over the Save000*.sav files. To switch, then copy the backup folder to SaveData. But you don't need to copy the whole folder, just "My Games/Borderlans/SaveData" But first copy SaveData to something like SaveDataPC1 and SaveDataPC2. if i copy the whole "my games/borderlands" folder over, wont i loose the current one? can i just rename them to something else? has anyone been successful in doing something to this nature? thanks Hey, i have 2 pc's here and have a different save game on each of them.
